Thyroid Nodule Ablation

What is Thyroid Nodule Ablation?

Thyroid nodule ablation refers to a range of non-surgical, minimally invasive treatments for thyroid nodules that can be used instead of surgery to treat thyroid nodules and cysts. Some small thyroid cancers may also be eligible for these techniques. There are two main forms of thyroid ablation: chemical ablation and thermal ablation. A/Prof Sinclair is the most experienced physician in Australia in both forms of ablation and is a world leader in these techniques.
